3 Peaks Challenge
Some of our employees have been training hard for the 3 peaks challenge, which they will be completing in 2024 to raise money for Valto’s chosen charity of the year, WeMindTheGap.
WeMindTheGap is a social mobility charity that operates across the North West and North Wales. Since 2014, they have been giving new opportunities in life and work to young people who deserve better.
Every pound and penny raised will help WeMindTheGap provide a future for a young person that they never believed was possible – giving them real choices in their life and career.

Microsoft for Fire and Rescue Services
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that attended our first in person Fire and Rescue Services event last month!
Also thank you to Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service for letting us host the event at your headquarters, and to all of our fantastic speakers Dougie, Hugh, Danny, and Steve James from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Valto goes to Vegas! Global Cloud & Innovation Summit
Our very own Jay Wellings had an amazing time at the Global Cloud & Innovation Summit hosted by Ingram in Las Vegas!
Silverstone 2023 🏁
A massive thank you to our Partner Acronis for inviting us to Silverstone to watch the British Formula 1 Grand Prix Qualifying in July.
We had an amazing day spent trackside, with an insightful talk about cyber security threats and Acronis’ extensive product offering.
Also, it was lovely to meet Alex Albon of Williams Racing, who qualified at an impressive P8!
Celebrating Company Culture
At Valto, fostering a vibrant and inclusive company culture is at the heart of our vision.
We had the opportunity to strengthen our relationships and align our goals through two fantastic events—a company-wide BBQ and a Strategy Day.
We are a hybrid workplace, with employees based all over the UK, so it was nice to get all of our Modern Workplace, Business Applications, and Microsoft Consultant teams all together in Chester for a few days.

Low Code Application Development Specialisation
We’re thrilled to announce that due to the hard work of our outstanding employees, we have achieved Microsoft’s Low Code Application Development Specialisation competency, as well as Digital & App Innovation solutions partner designation!
This specialisation means we have verified expertise, extensive experience, and proven success in aiding customers to adopt Microsoft low-code solutions.
We have extensive experience building Power Apps solutions to enable customers to work from mobile devices, reduce paper, make processes more efficient, and save money!

We are delighted to welcome some new members of staff to the Valto team, and we are excited to see all that they will achieve with us in the future!
Alex Housden
Alex has joined Valto as a Cloud Developer. He has 4 years of MI/BI Development experience within the Legal sector. His interests include Snowboarding, Hiking, Climbing, American Football, and Gaming. Alex spends most of his free time playing with his pets and cooking.
Tiffany Hammond-Williams
Tiffany joins Valto as Sales Admin. Her interests include spending time with her friends and 2 children, and photography.
Terry Gehler
Terry has 8 years of experience in his field, and he joins Valto as a Senior Cloud Developer. His interests include volunteering for charities, and spending time with family.
Ben Breeden
Ben joins Valto as a Cloud Developer, with a background in developing eLearning Solutions. His interests include photography, philosophy, and playing squash.
