Elevating Productivity with a Unified Solution in Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365, formerly known as Office 365, underwent a rebranding on April 21, 2020. While the name change primarily applied to small and medium businesses, the overall offering remains consistent. Microsoft 365 includes the same suite of applications and subscription packages as Office 365, with added features like Windows 10 desktop licenses and Intune device management solution. This transition allows Microsoft to unify its brands under a smaller number of banners, combining the productivity features of Office 365 with the platform-centric features of Microsoft 365. Although the rebranding may have at first gone unnoticed, the name Microsoft 365 is gradually gaining recognition.
What’s the difference between Office 365 and Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 features a range of applications perfect for business accounts, accompanied by intuitive cloud storage. Microsoft also provides a range of security features, and with Valto as your Microsoft Partner, you’ll benefit from hacking and compromised account protection.
There are a range of Microsoft 365 plans available, for personal, business and enterprise use. Your Valto specialist will be able to recommend the right plan for you to get the best value – we’ll start your consultation with a review of your business and requirements. Most Office 365 plans automatically convert to Microsoft 365 plans, though certain enterprise plans – including Office 365 E1, Office 365 E3 and Office 365 E5 – remain unchanged.
