The challenge & opportunity

Over many years, systems had naturally expanded to support a growing number of services, teams and industry requirements.

While these systems successfully supported the organisation, information was distributed across multiple applications, databases and processes. Bringing that information together and creating a single, trusted view of member, herd and animal data became a key strategic priority.

At the same time, Holstein UK wanted to improve internal efficiency, enhance member experiences and create a platform capable of supporting future innovation.

The vision

The long-term vision is to create a connected digital ecosystem that supports employees, members and industry stakeholders from a single platform.

Key objectives include:

  • Creating a trusted, unified data foundation
  • Modernising business-critical processes
  • Reducing duplication and manual effort
  • Improving visibility and reporting
  • Delivering new member-facing digital services
  • Strengthening governance and security
  • Supporting continued innovation across the dairy sector
