As VSI’s international footprint grew, the company found itself managing multiple Microsoft 365 tenants across different countries, including Germany, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Brazil, and Argentina. Each region operated its own systems, ranging from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace and on-premise solutions.
This created silos, inconsistent security policies, and increased IT management overhead. The fragmented setup made collaboration difficult and slowed down onboarding and user support. VSI needed to bring its global teams together under a single, secure platform that would streamline management, strengthen governance, and support seamless collaboration across locations and time zones.

Since 1989, VSI has combined global reach with local expertise, delivering subtitling, dubbing, voice-over, and translation services with a strong commitment to authenticity and quality.
Valto was engaged to consolidate six separate Microsoft 365 tenants into a single, unified global environment through a Microsoft Tenant Migration project. We began with a comprehensive discovery and planning phase, including workshops with each region to understand their unique systems, dependencies, and goals. From there, we designed a tailored migration approach that addressed the complexities of each site, such as data stored in Google Workspace, local on-premise tools, or custom-built applications.
Our work involved the secure migration of user accounts, emails, Microsoft Teams data, Power BI reports, and PowerApps, ensuring continuity across all key business tools. We also implemented centralised identity management with single sign-on, giving staff consistent access across the business while reducing the burden on IT. Throughout the project, we worked closely with VSI’s internal teams to coordinate pre-cutover and cutover activities, keeping disruption to a minimum.
VSI now operates from a single Microsoft 365 tenant, delivering a more unified, secure, and efficient digital environment across the business. IT administration has been reduced by up to 30%, thanks to centralised management and streamlined licensing. Staff now benefit from simpler logins, faster onboarding, and greater ease when collaborating across countries and departments.
The improved governance model allows VSI to enforce consistent security policies across all regions, enhancing compliance and reducing risk. The migration has also paved the way for better adoption of Microsoft 365 tools, enabling global teams to work more effectively together using Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps and services. Looking ahead, VSI plans to build on this foundation by expanding its use of Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform, driving further innovation and operational efficiency across its global network.
