We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our professional services team within our Cloud and Infrastructure practice. This role is primarily focused on the implementation of solutions within Valto’s delivery stack, from designs and content created by our Architects and Consultants. Additionally, our Cloud Engineers play a crucial role in product development and are encouraged to actively contribute to these initiatives.

This role involves direct engagement in customer implementations initially with support escalations for key solutions and customers, Over time, the Cloud Engineer’s responsibilities are expected to evolve, becoming more consultative within the team. Cloud Engineers are anticipated to be 80% billable, with projects assigned through our PMO function, working closely with project technical leads, such as Consultants or Architects.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the role of Delivery Engineer within the Cloud and Infrastructure practice, covering the following workloads:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft Teams Voice & Telephony
  • Microsoft On-premises solutions
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
• Delivering Microsoft Tenant migration projects: 100 – 10,000 seats
• Generate new product ideas, drive them through the Innovation Forum, and manage the product throughout its lifecycle.
• Innovate on existing products by leveraging new features and technologies, either as core amendments or additional services.
• Collaborate with Consultants and Architects to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
• Implement technologies outside the standard product set when knowledge aligns.
• Actively seek improvements in both personal and organizational knowledge to enhance processes and solutions continuously.
• Providing support to the managed services team for key infrastructure and customers.

Person Specification

Experience & Knowledge

• Windows 11, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365
• SCCM, Co-management, Hybrid devices, migration to Intune from SCCM or 3rd party
• Identity solutions – ADDS, Entra ID, Entra Connect
• Modern Workplace – Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange – both cloud and on-premises
• Defender Suite – Office 365, Endpoint, Cloud Apps, Cloud, Identity
• Purview – Information Protection, Information Governance, Data Loss Prevention
• Azure – Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, IaC, subscriptions
• Migration with on-premises solutions to cloud, File Shares, Exchange, identity, SharePoint
• On-premises technologies – Entra ID Connect, Hyper-V, VMware, Network devices
• Tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Teams Voice

Salary

The package on offer is depending on experience with up to 10% bonus
