Office 365 is now Microsoft 365 – Everything you need to know!

Microsoft changed the name of Office 365 to Microsoft 365 in April of 2020. They stated that they changed the name to be more reflective of the range of features and benefits included within the subscription, to meet the unique needs of individuals and businesses.

Microsoft 365 includes everything you know in Office 365. Microsoft 365 is designed to help people and businesses achieve more with innovative Office apps, intelligent cloud services, and world-class security.

What is included in Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 includes Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, Planner, Teams, SharePoint and much more. It is essential for any business as every application within Microsoft 365 work together and connect seamlessly. Microsoft 365 is also cloud based which enables you to work from any device, anywhere in the world, if you have an internet connection. What Office365 subscriptions have changed in Microsoft 365?

Some Office 365 subscriptions automatically became Microsoft 365 subscriptions. This means that you will not have to update them or change anything yourself. Listed below are the Office 365 subscriptions that have now changed to Microsoft 365 subscriptions with no action required.

• Office 365 Personal is now known as Microsoft 365 Personal.
• Office 365 Home is now known as Microsoft 365 Family.
• Office 365 Business Essentials is now known as Microsoft 365 Business Basic.
• Office 365 Business Premium is now known as Microsoft 365 Business Standard.
• Microsoft 365 Business is now known as Microsoft 365 Business Premium.
• Office 365 Business is now known as Microsoft 365 Apps for business.
• Office 365 ProPlus is now known as Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise.

Do some Office 365 subscriptions still exist?

Some Office 365 subscriptions for enterprise are still available, and no changes have been made to these. These subscriptions are as follows:

• Office 365 E1
• Office 365 E3
• Office 365 E5

What Microsoft 365 subscriptions are available?

There are many business and enterprise plans available. The cost of these subscriptions is the same as they were when they were previously Office 365 plans. These include:
