They act as agents for, and on behalf of importers, exporters and other companies to organize the most cost-effective transportation of goods. They also provide Warehousing and any Supply-Chain requirements a customer may have.
Access Global Logistics were victims of a phishing scam where a spoof email address was created nearly identically to that of their company domain, with an email sent out to all of their customers advising change of bank details. Luckily, they acted quickly enough to advise all of our customers of the immediate threat, but with company growth exceeding 30% year-on-year for the past 3 years, it became evident that they needed a more secure, robust Microsoft environment.
Valto performed a Microsoft 365 assessment and audit to review the security weaknesses that would need to be addressed. Once we had done this, we implemented a full Microsoft 365 Security Hardening for Access Global Logistics. This ensured all security best practices were in place within the company across all Microsoft 365 applications such as, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. This also ensures that their policies and data were only accessible with trusted devices and locations, and any potential risk for another phishing scam was eliminated. We also provide Access Global with ongoing support, to ensure they are confident with the security procedures, and are able to follow security best practices. This is also means that if they had any other concerns, we would be able to help them reduce any security threats quickly and efficiently.
Access Global Logistics no longer have concerns that their company or client data will be accessed by anyone outside of their organisation, and the threat to the security of their company and their clients details have been eliminated. Access Global Logistics have also stated that: ‘just having the peace of mind that a Microsoft Gold Partner and IT Specialist company, namely Valto, has given the infrastructure and security hardening a thorough going-over, any concerns we did have – we don’t anymore!’
