Efficient Document Management and SOX Compliance with Innospec’s SharePoint Deployment

The challenge

Innospec had a number of requirements for automated processes and SharePoint appeared to be the key tool. Innospec called on Valto services initially to perform a workshop with the key stakeholders at Innospec and determine whether SharePoint could be used. Following the workshop Valto provided a specification of the requirements and the infrastructure required to host SharePoint 2016.

The results

Innospec deployed the SharePoint platform which led onto the development of several key applications including a SharePoint Intranet Homepage, a vehicle tracking and booking system and a SOX Process. The SOX Process removed many of the manual steps required by providing automated reviews based on frequencies and allowing users to approve and review actions within the system.
